There's something about February - I mean, it's not only the shortest month of the calendar year but every four years it also gets to add a day. It's kind of cool to be the oddball, no?
Write a story that takes place in February. Write in daily segments, only allowing 28 or 29 parts to the story.
The goal here is to make sure that each daily segment is actually a part of the story - don't waste a day just because you don't know what to do with it. A good question to ask yourself before beginning is, "How can I make a whole month interesting for my characters?"
